Shining Stars Toddler Group is part of the Spectrum children’s work of North Cheam Baptist Church. Shining Stars is run by mums and grandmothers who are all members of North Cheam Baptist Church.

The aim of the group is to provide a  friendly and relaxed environment where carers can unwind and mix with others who face the joys and challenges of parenthood. The adults have a chance to chat over a cup of tea or coffee, whilst the children socialise in their own special way.

We have rooms full of toys to play with and an exciting craft area to enjoy creating. We end the morning with a time of nursery rhymes and action songs.
Cost?

We do not charge subs for our group but we ask for a donation which is suggested at £1 for the first child and 50p for subsequent children in the same family

Once a month we start the group with our very special Toddler Service, where the children can express themselves through dancing, singing and playing instruments, and enjoy an active Bible story and prayer.

At the end of the summer term 2009 we had our Teddy Bears’ Picnic.  Everyone enjoyed themselves decorating sun hats, playing parachute games, balancing eggs on spoons and eating lovely lunches with our teddies by our sides.
